About

A native New Yorker, Kristen has been passionate about cooking for as long as she can remember.  Growing up, her earliest memories include cooking special meals with her father or gathering fresh vegetables and herbs from their small backyard garden.

While her interest in cooking faded during her adolescent years, she found herself coming back to it once she graduated college and was looking for a creative outlet outside her job in advertising. Also at this time, Kristen become more deeply interested in using food as medicine by focusing on how to overcome a variety of health and wellness struggles - from negative body image to Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome.

More recently, after realizing that something was lacking in her life and holding her back from true health and happiness, she enlisted the help of two health coaches in order to bring her holistic health into alignment. Throughout this process, she gained the courage to leave her full time position in digital advertising in order to pursue health coaching and cooking full time.

Kristen is a resident of Astoria, Queens and believes the small community vibe in a bit city is a great healthy influence on her life. She lives there with her partner David and mischievous. black cat, Zelda.
